Operating principle
1. When the valve is in the fully open position, turn the hand wheel clockwise, and with the valve stem nut and the thrust bearing, the valve stem begins to fall and drive the ball to start spinning.
2. Continuously rotate the handwheel, the precision spiral curve groove track on the valve stem interacts with the guide pin embedded in it, driving the ball to rotate clockwise with the valve stem.
3. When the valve is about to close, the stem drives the valve ball to rotate 90° without friction with the sealing surface of the seat.
4. Continue to rotate the handwheel, and the valve stem falling again will mechanically press the ball, so that the ball is in close contact with the seat. To achieve sealing effect.
5. Turn the handwheel counterclockwise when the valve is in the fully closed position. In combination with the stem nut and the thrust bearing, the stem begins to rise and drives the ball away from the seat.
6. Continuous rotation of the handwheel and valve stem will drive the ball to tilt away from the seat while rising.
7. When the valve is about to be opened, the precision spiral curve groove track on the valve stem interacts with the guide pin embedded in it to drive the ball to rotate in the counterclockwise direction without friction with the sealing surface of the valve seat.
8. Continue to turn the handwheel, when the valve stem rises to the limit position, the ball has reversed 90° with the valve stem and the valve is in the fully open position.
